Laptop Computer ppt Free Download

A  laptop is a computer  which is easy to carry around. Its user can fold the laptop up and be able to take it with him/her. The laptop was created mainly for this particular reason. In order to develop a easier way to carry a computer technology was taken and then scaled to smaller size. Designed in 1979 by a Briton, William Moggridge, for Grid Systems Corporation, the Grid Compass was one fifth the weight of any model equivalent in performance and was used by NASA on the space shuttle program in the early 1980's. A  340K  byte bubble memory lap-top computer with die-cast magnesium case and folding electroluminescent graphics display screen. Laptops are becoming as common as your cellular phone, and now they share the hardware industry as that of desktop computers with a number of configurable options. The features, the price, the build quality, the weight and dimensions, the display, battery uptime or that matter, the ease of the trackball. Earlier, there were hardly any configurable options available but today, we have a variety of laptops n different configurations with the process and just about anything you want.

Touch Screen Technology ppt Free Download

The touch screen was derived from the digitizing tablet. The digitizing tablet was invented by Sam Hurst in 1971. It was designed to allow scientists to record data from graphs by placing the graph on the tablet and pressing the paper against the tablet with a stylus. A touch screen sensor is a clear glass panel with a touch responsive surface. The touch sensor/panel is placed over a display screen so that the responsive area of the panel covers the viewable area of the video screen. There are several different touch sensor technologies on the market today, each using a different method to detect touch input. The sensor generally has an electrical current or signal going through it and touching the screen can cause a voltage or signal change. This change is used to determine the location of the touch to the screen. The controller connects between the touch sensor and the PC. It takes information from the touch sensor and translates it into information that PC can understand. The controller determines what type of interface/connection you will need on the PC. Controllers are available that can connect to a Serial/COM port (PC) or to a USB port. Specialized controllers are also available that work with DVD players and other devices.

3D Internet ppt Free Download

The 3D Internet is one of the most important technologies  in the world . Generally, we do our things manually in the daily life, which can be said to be in the form of 3D. We are indeed so much used to and dependant on its existence that we don’t think about its nature anymore.
The 3D Internet is a powerful new way for you to reach consumers, business customers, co-workers, partners, and students. It combines the immediacy of television, the versatile content of the Web, and the relationship-building strengths of social networking sites like Face book. Yet unlike the passive experience of television. Virtual worlds provide immersive 3D experiences that replicate real life.
The 3D Internet Based Control and Communication Laboratory was established within a consortium of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) and the Computer and Automation Research Institute of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences , under the auspices of the Department of Telecommunications and Media Informatics at BME, and the Cognitive Informatics Research Group at MTA SZTAKI.
