A laptop is a computer which is easy to carry around. Its user can
fold the laptop up and be able to take it with him/her. The laptop was created
mainly for this particular reason. In order to develop a easier way to carry a
computer technology was taken and then scaled to smaller size. Designed in 1979 by a Briton, William Moggridge, for Grid Systems
Corporation, the Grid Compass was one fifth the weight of any model equivalent
in performance and was used by NASA on the space shuttle program in the early
1980's. A 340K byte bubble memory lap-top computer with
die-cast magnesium case and folding electroluminescent graphics display screen. Laptops are becoming as common as your cellular phone, and now they
share the hardware industry as that of desktop computers with a number of
configurable options. The features, the price, the build quality, the weight
and dimensions, the display, battery uptime or that matter, the ease of the
trackball. Earlier, there were hardly any configurable options available but
today, we have a variety of laptops n different configurations with the process
and just about anything you want.
